The Toxic Nation Studies

Environmental Defence has tested Canadians young and old for the presence of harmful chemicals in their bodies. In our first study we tested 11 adults from across the country for 88 chemicals, and for our latest study we tested children, parents and grandparents from five families for 68 chemicals.
